Today we decorated the tree...
...we hung up the stockings...
...we set up the nativity scene...
{This is the first year The Boy is old enough to wrap his mind around the event of Christ's birth, so we had a nice long talk about it. He still refers to Mary as "the princess" when he re-tells the story...but I think he gets the general idea.}
...And the boy had the VERY important job of placing the star at the top of the tree. He has been looking forward to this for WEEKS.
He smiled SO big and took his duty very seriously.
