The Boy vs. The Puddle
Boy 1...Puddle 0
After all the splashing, he sat down to "watch the fish".
They were really worms, but I didn't have the heart to tell him.

joe.
When I woke up this morning, this was the scene in my kitchen.
The Boy had collected most of my cups/plates/teapots and was pretending to cook.
He looked up at me with a big smile and said "Wanna cup of joe, Mom?"
I said "Excuse me?"
He took a pretend drink and said "Mmm. That's gooooooood joe."
He took a pretend drink and said "Mmm. That's gooooooood joe."
No more TV for him today...

Alrighty Then.
Anchovy pizza.
Just because.
Don't ask me why, because I have no idea why.
I guess I just wanted to try something new.
Words fail to articulate the taste, so I will just make one up:
saltvomity.

Redecorating
Today we redecorated The Boys room. It was time to get rid of some baby-ish stuff and make it into a big kid room.

Grandma
Today I got to hear my wonderful Grandma speak in church.
She gave the most beautiful, eloquent talk about her life and her journey to the Temple.
There are a lot of things I like about my Grandma.
She is funny, and smart and hip - and she has an incredible sense of adventure.
A few years ago, she took us on an adventure to Nauvoo, Illinois. TWENTY TWO of us got on a plane and flew 1100 miles across the country and it was AWESOME.
I don't know which demonstrates her sense of adventure better - the fact that she would tackle a cross-country trip with 22 relatives, or the fact that she would want to be permantly related to us.
She is a brave, brave woman ☺
So, to honor her and the topic of the day, I've posted a few photos from that trip...
{Some of us at the Temple after the Sealing. A huge day for our little family}

{H-Ditty enjoying the Mississippi River}
{Oh how fun to have the most dangerous moment of a family vacation on film. }
