The Birthday Supremacy

Tonight we celebrated The Bourne Supremacy's birthday with my family...

he'll turn 29 on Saturday, but tonight was a good night to celebrate and watch some college football.

So, all of us except for El Jefe {Who was very missed! To fill the void, we did mean things to his room. It helped, but only a little.} met up for fun, football, cupcakes, presents, and the most incredible Mexican food imaginable.

People...this food...I just...can't. 

I am nursing an ulcer and I still ate it. It was that amazing.

My mom...the woman can cook. (:
Thanks for the good times, Fam. We love you all very, VERY much!

An Apple A Day

I've had an awful virus this weekend - so  we've hung out at the house for most of today.We were watching cartoons this afternoon when The Boy jumped off the couch and ran into his room.

He returned with his Animal Hospital Kit and declared, “I‘m like Dr. Craig, and I'm going to fix you!” {Dr. Craig is his wonderful pediatrician}

He looked in my ears and eyes…listened to my heart... and hit my knees with the mallet.

When he was done, he gave me his prognosis:
A worm in my ear. {Ew.}

He told me to take some medicine, watch more cartoons and stop putting worms in my ears…which is just good advice in general.

Then he moved on to his next patient: A teddy bear with a loose seam.
