Start Spreadin' The News...

Bust out the bucket list and cross off number 28 - we went to New York!
I've wanted to go my entire life, and we had the most amazing time there.
I can see why people fall in love with that city.
I fell head over heels!
I took over 300 photos {Because that's just how I roll : obsessively.}
but I've selected about 25 to share...
So, please to enjoy...
New York City...

•Times Square•

•The Statue Of Liberty•

•The World Trade Center Site•

•Met some INTERESTING people on the subway•

•The Met•
{I ♥ you, Met. You complete me.}
After our time in there, we sat on the steps and relaxed for a minute. This was our view.
It was just a dream come true to go in there.

•Central Park•

•The Plaza Hotel•
{this one held special significance for me. It's a LONG story dating back to 1987 when Stebbernie and I were chubby little ankle-biters obsessed with the Plaza and wishing we were named "Rose and Sadie". It was absolutely gorgeous}

•FAO Schwartz•
Forget the giant piano thing from Big, they had a make-your-own-Muppet station. So awesome.

•Random Randomness•

And, saved the best for last:

•THE YANKEES GAME•
SO. DANG. AWESOME. I can barely stand how awesome it was.
I've been a Yankees fan for most my life - I love, LOVE baseball. I never dreamed I'd get to go to a game at the new stadium...with my super rad husband... and see Jorge Posada hit a GRAND SLAM.
Yep, a freaking GRAND SLAM.
It was glorious.

{Yes, I know I look completely jacked. It rained.}

It was truly an unbelievable trip.  As corny as it sounds, it was a dream come true for me.
We were only able to go because of our amazing friends willingness to show us around...and our families watching The Boy while we were gone. He was so happy and had so much fun while we were away.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU.
Your help meant more to me than you'll ever know.
