Twenty Questions....

I love the age that The Boy is at right now. He is so fun, and so aware of the world around him. The last few weeks he's been particularly curious about things, so I've written down a few of the questions he's asked...
  • {At dusk} I see the moon there...I see the sun there...so is it day time or night time?
  • Red light means stop, how come you can turn? {referring to a right turn on a red light}
  • If red means stop...green means go...yellow means slow down...what does purple mean?
  • Why is peanut butter sticky?
  • Why does the microwave melt cheese?
  • {Watching Toy Story} Do Buzz and Woody need batteries?
  • Why is "damn it" bad words? Is "Crap" bad words?
But my favorite was the conversation we had on the night before Easter. It was the first year he's been able to grasp the concept of the Easter Bunny, and I tried to explain it to him...

Him: A big bunny comes to our house?
Me: Yes, while you're sleeping so you won't see him.
Him: Why?
Me: The Easter Bunny comes to hide eggs – but we celebrate Easter because Jesus was resurrected.
Him: Jesus hides eggs at my house?
Me: No just the bunny – Jesus lives in heaven with Gran{referring to my Grandma who passed away}
Him: The bunny lives in heaven?
Me: No, Jesus lives in heaven. The bunny didn't die, he leaves eggs...
Him: Like a chicken?
Me: Let's go see what Dad is doing...
